I bought an Xbox one controller for my PC, and it refuses to work at all. It will not install device drivers, when I plug it in it appears as 'controller' in my device manager, and it doesn't work in games at all. I have no updates in Windows Update at all, and I cannot understand what the problem is. I have tried to uninstall the driver and plug it back in, tried uninstalling the 1.11 Kernel and User driver updates and reinstalling them, scanning for hardware changes, and a couple other things. The controller works, the cords work, I just can't figure out why it won't work with my PC. I am on Windows 7 SP1. The controller also works fine on my friend's Windows 8 PC.
Gizmodo released an article on how to use the Xbox One controller with PC. When I try to find the driver to hook up with the Controller, an error appears, 'Access is denied'. It happened to me when I tried doing it with the Xbox 360 controller. https://thinkinggreat712.weebly.com/download-game-summoners-war-untuk-pc.html.
